Local drafts and website use
The contact composer builds a draft in your browser. Its fields are not submitted to us, saved in localStorage or sent to a message service. Copying places the draft on your device’s clipboard; downloading creates a file under your control. Other software or people with access to your device may be able to access those copies.
Serving a website involves technical information such as an IP address, requested page, browser information and request time. Hosting providers may process this information to deliver and secure the site. The supplied website code does not implement analytics, advertising trackers, fingerprinting or third-party embeds.
When you email us
If you choose to send an email, we receive your email address, message, any name you provide and attachments you include. We use this information to respond, assess corrections, address access issues and maintain appropriate correspondence records. Please do not send medical records or unnecessary sensitive personal data.
Legal bases and retention
We rely on legitimate interests to respond to ordinary enquiries, maintain the reference and protect website services, taking account of your rights. Where a legal obligation requires processing, that obligation is the relevant basis. If consent is required for a particular optional activity, we will request it separately.
Correspondence is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to resolve the matter and retain necessary follow-up records. Legal duties or disputes may require longer retention. We do not promise a fixed deletion date where the appropriate period depends on the enquiry.
Sharing and international processing
Hosting and email service providers may process relevant information to operate these services. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information. Where processing involves transfers outside the European Economic Area, applicable data-protection requirements and appropriate safeguards must be observed.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need proportionate information to verify a request.
You may complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission or another competent supervisory authority. Contacting us first is welcome but is not a condition of exercising that right.
