What cookies and local storage do
Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. LocalStorage is a separate browser feature that lets scripts retain information between visits. Both can support useful preferences, but can also be used for tracking.
What this website code uses
The supplied pages and script do not set cookies or write to localStorage or sessionStorage. They do not include analytics, advertising tags, embedded social media, external fonts or third-party scripts. Navigation state, selected topic tabs and message drafts remain in page memory and are not intentionally retained by the site after the page is closed or reloaded.
| Feature | Storage behaviour | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Navigation and tabs | Temporary page state | Display your current selection |
| Message composer | Temporary page state | Prepare and review a draft |
| Copy | Device clipboard after your action | Move a draft to another application |
| Download | Text file saved after your action | Keep a local copy of a draft |
Browser and delivery services
Your browser may cache page files or restore form values using its own features. Website hosting and security services may also have delivery behaviours outside the static page code. Those behaviours should be assessed separately from the features described here. Any additional optional storage introduced to the website should be explained before it is used and, where required, depend on your consent.
Managing local information
You can inspect and clear cookies, site data and cached files through your browser’s privacy settings. Clipboard contents and downloaded drafts are managed separately by your device and applications. Clearing website data does not necessarily delete a downloaded file, an email you sent or a copy retained by another application.
External resources
Following a link to another website takes you to a service with its own cookie and privacy practices. This website does not embed those external pages or make them load merely because a reference link is displayed.
